A tandem skydive give the whole parachute experience after a short training brief. You will get to experience the complete skydiving thrill whilst being attached to a highly experienced tandem skydive instructor throughout the jump. If they like it they can carry on to a solo skydive course with a discounted price.
After booking in training only takes 20 to 30 minutes by our qualified BPA tandem skydive instructors. Your then ready to be placed in to the parachute program and be allocated to an skydiving aircraft lift number on the manifest board.
Next a 10 minute plane ride where from altitude you can see views of Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Gloscestershire, Hertfordshire just by turning your head. On clear days you can see the Isle of Wight as well as the Seven Bridges and the hills of Wales.
It's time to exit the parachute plane and experience the adrenalin fueled rush of free fall. Accelerating to 120mph you'll fall towards the Earth for approx 30 to 40 seconds before the tandem skydiving instructor will open the parachute. You now have the calm peace and quiet of a 4 to 5 minute canopy ride to the ground.
You do not have to be super fit or tough to do a Tandem Skydive, but you must be in generally good health.
You must be at least 16 years of age and if you are under 18 you will require a parent or guardian's consent. There are no formal upper age limits to Tandem Skydiving, so long as you are in good health. All parachutists will be required to sign a declaration of medical fitness. In the case of any person aged 40 or over, a BPA Medical Certificate signed by a doctor is required. This will be forwarded to you if you make a booking.
The upper weight limit is 15 stone (95 kg) for males and 13 stone (83 kg) for females. Please contact us with details of your height if you are near this limit.
